March 14, 2018 — The International Society of Automation (ISA) announced the opening of registration for its 2018 Analysis Division Symposium, which will explore the latest advances in process analytics techniques and applications, 23-25 April 2018 in scenic Galveston, Texas, USA.
The conference program incorporates the critical insights of experts who will deliver peer-reviewed technical papers; provide important technical updates; highlight trends and innovations; and review best practices and success stories in the process analytical arena.
In addition, two professional development opportunities are offered: fundamental and advanced analyzer training on Sunday, 22 April, and vendor-led product training on Thursday, 26 April.
Expert-led technical and product training
Both fundamental- and advanced-level training will be offered on Sunday, 22 April from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. The training courses are outlined below.
Fundamentals of Process Analyzers:
- Analyzer engineering
- Spectroscopy
- Oxygen analysis
- Chromatography
- Sample conditioning systems
- Analyzer system design
Advanced Analyzers and Design:
- Advanced Sample System Design
- Chemometrics for Analyzers
Several companies also will provide practical product/equipment training on Thursday, 26 April from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Participating vendor sessions include:
