Cégep de Lévis and KUKA Robotics Canada Announce Partnership for Robotics Training

June 14, 2024 - KUKA, a world-renowned manufacturer of robotics and automation, has joined forces with Cégep de Lévis’ Department of Continuing Education and Business Services to offer specialized robotics training in French to Quebec companies that choose KUKA technology for their manufacturing. Cégep de Lévis, which has offered French training on KUKA robots for many years, is in the process of acquiring new equipment and further expanding its training abilities.

This agreement is new for KUKA, who currently has a training center in Mississauga, Ontario. Cégep de Lévis will be providing companies that already possess or are in the process of possessing KUKA robots with knowledgeable instructors accredited by KUKA College to meet their training needs. They will be available at all times, providing official training in French.

“We want to give our full support to companies investing in KUKA robots so that they can be integrated into production quickly and efficiently. Cégep de Lévis is familiar with our technologies and they understand how crucial support is to succeed in robotics,” explained Patrick Beaumier, account manager for Quebec and The Maritimes at KUKA Robotics Canada.

Cégep de Lévis is well known for its excellent training in robotics and automation. For Kathleen Cantin, the organization’s Director of Continuing Education and Business Services, this partnership once again demonstrates the commitment Cégep de Lévis has towards companies that are becoming involved in robotics. “We will be able to respond to the training needs of their staff in French while respecting our high-quality standards and those of KUKA,” she added.
